When Tom and Sue Kramlich founded Healthy Snackin in 2009 they had only one vision in mind: Produce a snack that is both savory and nutritious, but not just any snack. It needed to be something truly unique: a healthy meat snack. The Simply Snackin line is exactly what they had envisioned.
Don’t confuse our strips with jerky. They are anything but. Unlike traditional beef jerky, our gourmet meat strips are created by briefly grinding the meat instead of dehydrating whole muscles cuts. As you know,with jerky the result is a typically tough product that can give you a workout just chewing it.
We combine the lean, natural beef sirloin and lean, natural chicken breast meat with imaginative and tantalizing combinations of up to 20% of the finest dried fruits, spices, and cheeses. The result: an entirely new dimension of flavor.
Each and every gourmet meat strip is stuffed by hand. If they are too short, underweight, or oblong they are remade. People, not machines, stuff and inspect each and every strip by hand.
Finally, our leisurely roasting process produces tender strips with a touch of rich smokey flavor from the hardwood and hickory chips. 6 Enticing Varieties.
