What is a gourmet meat snack?
Our gourmet meat snacks will surprise you if you have not tried them before.
Upon opening up the package(Beef Sirloin with cranberries & blueberries) you will see the rich color of the meat, dried blueberries and cranberries, and take notice of the moistness of the meat itself.
If you’re used to jerky, prepare yourself for a whole new experience! The first bite will reveal the moist and tender texture. This tender and moist texture is a complete contrast to the normally tough, and dry texture of jerky. This is precisely why we call them gourmet meat snacks - not jerky.
History
The idea of adding fruit to meat has been no secret. Native Americans have practiced this tradition for hundreds of years. Pemmican, as it was named, provided Native Americans with a nutritious, high protein snack that could keep for a very long time.
